Once Again

Prism in the sun

High winds of the world's dawn

We stood together

On the bridge by the orange light

Above the fires of the waters below

In a deep bow our gaze struck its wonder

As a light shining in the cavern

Forgoing any reluctance

Our hearts poured out great love

Our memories came

And our memories remained

We say goodbye

Just as the world passeth away before us

We in this way tear ourselves asunder

For the world knows us not on this day

Yet it will remember us forever when it is made new

By the dignity in which we love

And by the nobility in which we had loved

For wickedness must passeth away by the fair light of friendship

Just as wax melts beneath the fire

Emerging in this light we move across the ages

And as these fine stretches of time bring comfort

I wrap my cloak around you and kiss your hand goodbye

A short oblivion and a great peace

Are a million miles of purple lights

Know now

Hear, all those who stand before us

For I declare this to all across the ages

Hear this voice

Which casts great wonders

And tears down high mountains

Which breaks apart mighty armies

And so rips these apart, these the weapons of war

As this world comes to an end

And our minds dissolve into dust

As these hearts become one

One and the same

We shall see each other again

In a new world where

Everything is green

And everything is by the kind river around us

With new eyes, new faces, and new compositions

For even then we will remember each other

Although everything about us will be new

And we shall know

Standing by the valley of delight

That we were once friends

And now we will be

Once again.
